Bitcoin at Vidal: conversion, confirmations and crypto bonuses

Bitcoin is the most widely listed coin in casino cashiers, and it brings two things no card has: a price that moves while you play, and a confirmation process on the blockchain before your deposit counts. Both affect bonuses. A promotion is calculated on the value credited to your balance, and some casinos run crypto-specific offers that differ from the standard one. This page explains how that works at Vidal in practice. Available methods and limits depend on your account — check the cashier.

Depositing Bitcoin

Select Bitcoin in the cashier, activate a bonus if you want one, copy the deposit address and send from your own wallet. The deposit is credited after the number of network confirmations the casino requires. If your account is held in a regular currency, the amount is converted at the rate applied on arrival — which may differ from the rate when you pressed send.

Why conversion matters for the bonus minimum

Suppose a promotion requires a qualifying deposit of 50 and you send Bitcoin worth 52 at the moment of sending. If the price dips before confirmation and the converted amount lands at 49, the deposit may not trigger the offer (illustrative example, not a Vidal condition). Leave a margin above the minimum when you deposit in a volatile coin.

Crypto-only promotions

Some casinos attach a separate promotion to crypto deposits. These can look larger than the standard welcome offer but often come with higher wagering or a different base. Compare them with the wagering method: a bigger match with a heavier multiplier is not automatically better.

Network fees are separate

Sending Bitcoin costs a network fee paid to miners, set by the network rather than the casino. It reduces the amount that arrives, which again matters when you are close to a bonus minimum.

Withdrawing Bitcoin

Withdrawals go to a Bitcoin address you provide. Verification is generally required before the first payout, and the casino may ask that you withdraw in the same coin you deposited. With an active bonus, the usual rules apply: requesting a withdrawal before wagering is complete may cancel the bonus and its winnings, and caps or sticky bonuses can reduce the amount. See the withdrawal guide and the crypto overview.

Frequently asked questions

Is the bonus calculated in Bitcoin or in my account currency?
If the account is held in a regular currency, the deposit is converted on arrival and the bonus is based on the converted amount. If the account is held in Bitcoin, the terms state the bonus in Bitcoin.
Can I withdraw Bitcoin to an exchange address?
Technically you can send to any valid address, but some casinos ask for a wallet you control. Read the withdrawal terms and make sure the receiving service accepts the network used.
Do Bitcoin deposits have a separate bonus?
Some casinos run crypto-only promotions with their own wagering, while others apply the standard offer or exclude crypto. The promotion terms say which applies to your deposit.
